Sue and Mike from Blackwater Pork are a small family run farm based in Hampshire. Passionate about breeding premium Berkshire and Pedigree rare breed Gloucester Old Spot Pigs.
The farm started with just 4 pigs in 2012 and has now grown to over 50 and with Sue proudly now having her own butchering unit on the farm and therefore preparing all of the meat on site and has supplied some of Hampshire finest restaurants and cafes across the New Forest.
The herd at Colbury farm are outdoor bred and reared meaning they can roam freely and forage for themselves.
Happy pigs that in addition to their feed have a natural diet of grass, wildflowers, and in the autumn enjoy foraging for the acorns and hazelnuts that drop from the trees surrounding the farm - rich and in essential vitamins and minerals. Producing exceptionally tasting, ethically reared meat that you can trust completely.
